ICRN MANDATE
To promote cultural understanding for the 21st Century.
MISSION STATEMENT:
The International Cultural Research Network promotes the intellectual exchange of ideas through world-wide interaction and co-operation.
HISTORY:
The International Cultural Research Network (ICRN) was founded in 1998 at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada during the International Multicultural Conference and the International Child/Youth Conference.
MEMBERSHIP:
Network of professional researchers, professors, teachers, students, independent scholars, librarians, social workers, archivists, retired professionals, NGOs (non-government organizations) and all others interested in culture.
PURPOSES:
- to establish a network for the international exchange of ideas related to culture;
- to promote international discussion on current issues and research;
- to enable the publishing of peer reviewed books and articles;
- to assist in the organization of biennial international conferences.
